I spent my weekend by reading another outrageous novel from Dan Brown ; Digital Fortress. After touching painting art in Da Vinci Code and science of antimatter in Angels and Demons (both stared by Robert Langdon), Dan Brown stepped into digital world by wrote Digital Fortress. Here's my review : 
It was told that NSA had a super computer called TRANSLTR
which can encrypt every code, password, or anything that supposed to protect your message, email, etc. That TRANSLTR may 'back doored' all your privacy. THe mission was so nobel, to prevent any terorism.
But then, one of ex-member in crypto team (one of NSA's divison that built TRANSLTR) named Ensei Tankado made a beautiful algorithm that consist of mutational string that couldn't be broken by TRANSLTR. HE called it "DIGITAL FORTRESS". For the first time since it ever built, TRANSLTR couldn't break a code. TRANSLTR usually break a code every 6 minutes, but it kept running till 18 hours and still couldn't break Digital Fortress.
There're only two pass key in this world, one in Tankado's hand and the copy in his partner : North Dakota (Ndakota). Tankado just want NSA to told publics that they're back doored everyone, after that he'll give the pass key to kill digital fortress. But then he's dead, and NSA start to search the pass key Tankado's
hand over to a stranger.
While David Becker hunt the ring that contain Tankado's pass key, his fiancee Susan Fletcher try to search the copy of the passkey that kept by Tankado's partner : Ndakota.
Element of surprise is kept at the end of the novel, as usually. Who's Tankado's killer? Who's Ndakota? Who's the real villain ? Read it and enjoy it. Let the book feed your brain.

Haha, karna bukunya berbahasa inggris, jadi reviewnya bahasa inggris juga... Ternyata yah... baca novel berbahasa inggris jauhhh lebih sulit dibandingin baca text book kaya transport phenomena, dll. Ini novel berbahasa inggris pertama yg Konce punya... Ntar Harry Potter beli yg bahasa inggris juga ahhh... (padahal mah karna males nunggu lama lagi untuk edisi bahasa indonesianya...) international edition out of store by 16 july 2005.. Ayooo nabung dulu.. karna harganya lumayan euy 225,700 rupiah.. Hiks....
